fbclear [r g b]
FBCLEAR(nged)
NAME
fbclear - clear the framebuffer display to a background color
On this page
SYNOPSIS
DESCRIPTION
The fbclear command clears the framebuffer (overlay image plane) associated with the current display manager to a specified background color. If no color is given, the framebuffer is cleared to black.
The optional r g b arguments specify the fill color as three integers in the range 0–255.
Only one optional argument is accepted in addition to the command name: providing more than one argument (but less than three) returns a usage error. You must specify all three values or none.
|
Note
|
This command operates on the framebuffer layer — the raster image layer used by raytrace output and PNG display, not the vector display list. Use zap to clear the vector display. |
EXAMPLES
mged> fbclear
Clears the framebuffer to black (0, 0, 0).
mged> fbclear 128 128 128
Fills the framebuffer with a 50% gray background.
