illum [-n] object
ILLUM(nged)
NAME
illum - illuminate object
On this page
SYNOPSIS
DESCRIPTION
The illum command illuminates (highlights) the specified object in the MGED display. The command searches the current display list for the given object and flags it for highlighting.
If the optional -n flag is provided, the command performs the reverse operation, un-illuminating (de-highlighting) the specified object. If the object is not currently in the display list, the command will return an error indicating it was not found.
EXAMPLES
Example 1. Highlight an object in the display
mged> illum region1.r
Highlights region1.r in the current display.
Example 2. Un-highlight an object
mged> illum -n region1.r
Removes the highlight from region1.r in the current display.
