DESCRIPTION

The sdata_lines command manages a second view-associated line set that is not tied to database geometry. It accepts the same subcommands as data_lines: draw, color, line_width, points, and snap.

Each subcommand reports the current value when invoked without a new setting. For points, the supplied Tcl-style point list must contain an even number of 3D points because lines are defined in endpoint pairs.

The same functionality is also available through the view sdata_lines … command form.

The related data_lines command edits a separate line set in the same view.

EXAMPLES

Example 1. Create a highlighted secondary guide line set through the view command form.

mged> view sdata_lines points {{0 -1000 0} {0 1000 0} {-1000 10 0} {1000 10 0}} mged> view sdata_lines color 255 0 0 mged> view sdata_lines line_width 100 mged> view sdata_lines draw 1

Defines two guide lines in the secondary line set, colors them red, widens them, and enables drawing.
